We have already started to release the Pink fry, the Chinooks are ready for the cap troughs and the Coho are very close. We have ponded the Chum this past week and will hold them for a while in Channel 2 before their release to the system.
This past week we were able to erect a new storage building to replace the A-frame shed.
Thanks to the generous donations from Windsor Mill Sales, (Campbell River) and Island Truss we will have a much needed secure storage building. Also a big thank you to Sun Coast Waste Management Systems, for the dumpster to remove the old building materials and the CVRD that waived the tipping fees for the disposal.
Also a big shout out to Chris May from Windsor Mill Sales, who was instrumental in organizing this wonderful donation. Thank you so much for your continued support. Thanks also to Eric, from Vantage Point Renovations, and the team from ORES that worked with him during the construction of the new storage building. Thanks to the many members that worked on the demolition of the old building and the site preparation for the new structure. It takes the efforts of many to make these projects possible.
