| How to get to the Hatchery of the Oyster River Enhancement Society! The Oyster River Enhancement Society Hatchery is situated halfway between Campbell River
and Courtenay on the east coast of Vancouver Island, about 5 km off the Island
Highway.
Turn onto Hamm Rd. from the Island Highway (right if coming from
Campbell River, left if coming from Courtenay), then almost immediately turn
right onto Macaulay Rd. After about 5 km you will see the ORES sign on the
right side of the road. (just past the Bear Creek Ranch)
